Cases Four and Five: Multiple Sclerosis

A lady came to see me for relief from the many symptoms caused by MS. She explained that she had seen a homeopath some years before who had helped her greatly, and also got rid of her daughter's hay fever, but that this homeopath had moved from the area. She couldn't remember which remedy or remedies had been helpful in the past.

I took her case and mentioned which remedy I thought would be her constitutional. She immediately recalled that that was indeed the remedy the previous homeopath had prescribed.

The remedy appears to have relieved many of this lady's symptoms and she just takes a dose whenever she begins to notice a recurrence.

Her sister also suffers from MS and came to see me in the hope of similar results. She has required entirely different remedies, but it seems to the same good effect. At the time of her first visit, she was worried that she had been off work sick for some weeks with little prospect of feeling well enough to return, and had discussed this with her employer.  After her first month's treatment, she was able to inform her employer that she now had sufficient energy to return to work for four days a week.
